Mid-century Modern House II (completion 2024)
New Canaan, CT
This house is a gut renovation and extensive addition to John Black Lee's very own family's first mid-century modern home. The exterior of the original home was updated to maintain the orginal look and feel but with high efficiency and low maintenance materials. Ampersand added a new addition cantilevered over the tree tops to bring the total square footage to 2,500. The interiors were gutted and redesigned to make this 3 bedroom, 3 bath home take full advantage of all the views. The palette accentuates a light, modern and minimal feel.
